It’s time to relax and have a little fun again with this one of a kind hunt on October 23rd, 2024. The Oak Creek Sporting Club has invited us back for the 2024 hunt.
We’ve been fortunate to have had current and former MLB players, former UNL players to join our Legion Coaches and Supporters of the Hastings Baseball Program. Some of the players that have participated in our hunt are Jake Diekman (Oakland A’s), Brian Duensing (Chi. Cubs), Tommy Armstrong (UNL), Johnny Dorn (UNL) to name a few.
The location of the hunt is The Oak Creek Sporting Club in Brainard, NE.
After greeting all of our Guests and Supporters we will start with Shooting of Clay Targets, followed by lunch at the Club then on to the European Pheasant Hunt. The Oak Creek Staff cleans and packages all of the bird and distributes them among the hunters.
The cost of the hunt is $250 per hunter. We are allowed up to 52 hunters and we will alternate groups between the hunt and the clay shoots. No hunting license is required.
